Loretta Young was one of the most beautiful women I have ever known. She was lovely to look at but her real beauty was inside in her heart. She played my mother in the 1947 film, The Bishop's Wife. She was kind and she cared about her fellow man. She was a devout catholic. This exceptional woman got her wings on August 12, 2000.

She touched my life many times. Pictured above is a photo that she signed for me. She also shared one of her favorite prayers and a note that I still hold dear to my heart (see both at lower left). I believe that she would have wanted me to share these with you.
